March 01, 2017 was considered one of the most important days in the history of Infralobo E.M. with the launch of Smart Resort by Infralobo.
Tomorrow will be the day to celebrate the first anniversary of this pioneering project, but above all else it provides a moment for reflection, time to take stock of the initial goals, promises and the results achieved.
Improving access to information and communication technologies, as well as their use and quality, were instrumental in making the decision to move forward with this project. The intention was to ensure more effective and efficient management of natural, material and human resources, as well as to respond quickly to the needs of residents and tourists in Infralobo E.M.’s area of operation.
After a year in operation, the evolution and improvement to performance is both remarkable and highly positive. With Incident Management, the average time for incident resolution went from 15-20 days to 1-2 days, and many cases were solved in a few hours. With the Telemetry System implemented, water consumption readings are carried out in real time, the detection of anomalous incidents in real time and their location allows reduction of losses. With the Document Management System, the average time for correspondence circulation went from 5-6 days to 1-2 days, while also highlighting significant paper savings and reduction of bureaucracy in administrative processes. Urban Hygiene Planning and Fleet Management ensured a significant reduction in the average number of kilometres travelled daily per vehicle.
